RS Pro 699987 Series – Cartridge Heaters:

In order to obtain optimum performance from these products, it is advised that temperature sensing and control elements be used with them.

Features:

Designed to provide localised heat to a restricted work area requiring close thermal control

Cartridge heaters have low/moderate watt density elements consisting of helical wire coils on ceramic former or high watt density elements with the heating element located close to the sheath, which is swaged to improve heat conduction

Cartridge heaters have high temperature lead wires that can stand temperature of up to 4500°C

High impact ceramic cap suitable for high vibration applications

Deep holes in ceramic cap prevents fraying of lead when bent

Nickel-chromium resistance wire for maximum heater life

TIG welded end disc prevents contamination and moisture absorption

Fiberglass lead wire insulation
